Joe Hunyor — Wealth Advisor

Why I do this.

I am a Wealth Advisor helping Catholics faithfully steward God's gifts — through guidance rooted in the moral tradition of the Church and the long horizon of stewardship.

Why I do this

A note from Joe.

I did not set out to build a firm. I set out, slowly and over many years, to answer a question that would not leave me alone: what does it actually mean to steward, faithfully, the capital that a Catholic family or institution has been entrusted with?

I was given the gifts of finance. Earlier, and more importantly, I was given the gift of faith. It became strange to me that I had been trained to keep the two in separate rooms — as though the moral tradition of the Church had nothing to say about how capital is held.

Hunyor Stewardship is my attempt to answer the question with the seriousness it deserves. The practice is personal and deliberate, and it will stay that way as it grows. The work is to sit with families, business owners, retirees, clergy, and Catholic institutions while they consider, often for the first time, what their wealth is doing while it is in their care.

I do this because the Church has been asking these questions for a very long time, and the families I love deserve help answering them.

The Founder's Story

In four movements.

I.

Prayer

This practice did not begin in a boardroom. It began in prayer — quietly, over many years — long before it had a name.

II.

Surrender

It required leaving certain comforts. Walking away from the easier road. Trusting that what is asked of me is also what is given to me.

III.

Professional Excellence

Faithful work is not casual work. The craft demands fiduciary discipline, technical depth, and the humility to keep learning. Faithfulness and financial excellence have never been in competition.

IV.

Mission

To serve Catholic families with guidance that is both deeply faithful and quietly excellent — generation after generation.

I would rather be trusted slowly than believed quickly.
What Guides Me

Six convictions.

Fidelity

to the moral tradition of the Church.

Excellence

as an expression of vocation, not ambition.

Discretion

in counsel, communication, and conduct.

Long Horizon

I plan in generations, not quarters.

Hospitality

every conversation begins with welcome.

A Note On Independence

Hunyor Stewardship is an independent practice. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Roman Catholic Church or any diocese. My fidelity to Catholic teaching is a matter of conscience, conviction, and craft.
